Mt. SAC Pathways to Transfer Program Report (Summer/Fall 2014) Pathways to Transfer Program at Mt. SAC is an accelerated intensive program that offers students who start or place at one to four levels below transfer level in English or Math an opportunity to complete three sequential courses within two consecutive terms through guaranteed enrollment. The students begin with the summer session and continue with the same professor through the next two levels in the fall semester. The math classes are linked to and supported by a Learning Communities (LCOM) class, and English 1A classes are linked to a Library 1A class. Each class also has a Supplemental Instructor (SI) or Tutor in the Classroom (SI) tutor connected to the class. The following section presents the academic outcomes and demographics for cohort (PW) in Summer 14, Fall 14 (first 8 weeks) and Fall 14 (second 8 weeks) in comparison with matching course non-participants (NPW) of the respective terms. All data of this report are generated from the Mt. SAC Banner System Data Warehouse.
