HELPING YOU BRING ENGLISH TO LIFE
Introduction The chief aim of OCR Entry Level English is to motivate candidates. Candidates must complete two tasks for Speaking and Listening, a discussion and role play. Teachers are free to set whatever tasks they choose as long as they are suitable to the students and enable them to meet the assessment criteria. In general, the best examples of discussion we hear are those based on issues close to the students’ hearts or about subjects where they share a common expertise. The course specification contains specific details of the assessment requirements. This booklet has been created from tasks set for the old specification, 3911. These materials can be used in addition to the suggested tasks given within the specimen materials, specification and Teachers’ Handbook.
